This was a project where I needed to find a logo that could be improved and completely redesign it. I chose this company because I wanted to design a logo that would be bright and colorful. I created a bright color palette that would make the cake shop look cute, fun, and appetizing. I illustrated a cupcake and created an S and a C in the icing to abbreviate "Sweet Chic". Then I added a ruffled circle container to symbolize the shape of a cupcake wrapper.
The second part of this project was to create a branding guide for the logo. I wanted the fun and excitement to be seen throughout the branding guide, so I created a pattern from elements in the logo and used gradients to keep it colorful and interesting.
